The agreement between you and TaxC for use of our services.

Please read these Terms carefully before using TaxC. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service and Your Account

TaxC provides tax calculation tools, educational eBooks/PDF reports related to Nigerian tax regulations, and access to vetted tax professionals.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree to notify TaxC immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

1.1 Tax Tracker and Bank Statement Import

TaxC may allow users to upload bank statements to automatically extract and categorize financial transactions within the Tax Tracker feature.

Uploaded bank statements may contain sensitive financial information.
TaxC processes these files solely to identify transactions and assist with tax tracking.
Transaction categorization may be automated and may not always be accurate.

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and confirming the classification of all transactions before relying on them for any tax calculation or reporting.

TaxC does not guarantee the accuracy of extracted transaction data.

2. Disclaimer: Not Financial or Legal Advice

CRITICAL NOTICE: TaxC is an informational and educational tool. We are not a licensed financial, legal, or tax advisory firm. The calculator results, reports, eBooks,tax tracker, and AI tax consultant provided are for informational purposes only.

You must verify all figures with a qualified professional or FIRS before submitting any official tax filings. TaxC is not responsible for any financial penalties, losses, or incorrect tax filings resulting from use of our Service.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content in the Service — text, graphics, logos, calculator code, and eBooks — are the property of TaxC or its licensors, protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws.

3.1 License to You

When you purchase an eBook, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for your personal, non-commercial use only.

3.2 Prohibited Actions

You are strictly prohibited from:

Reselling, redistributing, or sub-licensing any purchased eBooks or PDF reports.
Uploading TaxC content to publicly accessible websites or file-sharing services.
Modifying, reverse-engineering, or creating derivative works from the Service.

4. User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including:

Submitting false or misleading information.
Attempting to interfere with the Service's infrastructure or security.

5. Payment, Refunds, and Cancellation

Payments are processed securely via Paystack. We do not store your payment card details. Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are generally final. TaxC reserves the right to determine if a refund is warranted under exceptional circumstances.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms particularly concerning Intellectual Property or User Conduct.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nigeria to resolve any legal matter arising from these Terms.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice before new terms take effect. Continued use of the Service after revisions means you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
